Erratic
hushed drops of rain pelting the roof shingles quiet birds occasional chirping horse stands in the middle of the field dozen cows lounge unaware of the mud cats under the firewood tarp snug sleeping curled in spirals. i am meditating, fixing my global emotional position, coordinating intellectual and spiritual quadrants now into this countryside repose a lone vehicle interjects rides like a posse twirling up dust back and forth, over and over, back and forth, engine whinning, back and forth, spinning wheels of diversion dust clouds of decision just outside my window. I stop my search call a friend to talk about the erratic car.
